Updated: Aug 31, 2019

In a first of its kind Design Thinking Workshop to have ever been organized in India, Lufthansa Airlines collaborated with YUVA-the E-cell of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (in association with Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies Innovation and Incubation Foundation), DPSRU, and Ambedkar University to execute an event aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students. A beautiful symposium of Indo-German cultural and intellectual exchange, the event saw an overwhelming response with over 150 participants from across Delhi-NCR.
The first day saw the teams understanding the Design Challenge and working out the possible solutions through a 360◦ approach, while simultaneously working on the Team Vision and Team Dynamics. This day also saw the teams collecting observations and learning from external parties such as potential customers, experts, and partner organizations to better understand the problem and the solution.
On the second day, the teams analyzed the observations collected so far and gave definite shapes to the chosen solutions whilst also gaining clarity about needs, expectations, perceptions and processes.
The third day was undoubtedly the most grueling day of the series, wherein participants had to design and display their product prototypes for validation, iteration followed. The products were reviewed by potential customers and improved further.
The concluding day of the event saw the presentations of all the 21 teams. The top 5 teams were awarded with cash prizes and gift hampers from Lufthansa. The organizers and coaches from Lufthansa were also felicitated for their arduous efforts throughout the workshop.
